THE EVENT

The Malaysia 2nd Chocolate Fair will take place at EXPO @ Danga City Mall from 4th-6th June 2010. Following the overwhelming success of the 1st event, which attracted 48,779 visitors over 3 days, the organizer (Expomedia Events) chose the city of Johor Bahru for the 2nd Malaysia Chocolate Fair.

This is a sales-driven event, with lots of fun, activities, live chocolate workshops, and also the largest selection of chocolate products under one roof. This event is supported by the Malaysian Cocoa Board and our main sponsor is Network Foods (M) Sdn Bhd. We have Malaysian and foreign chocolate manufacturers, importers and wholesalers. Participating countries include Iran, Russia, Australia and Belgium; this event will also feature many Malaysian top chocolatier.

Our 3-days event will start with an exclusive Preview for the Press and Media beginning at 10.00am on 4th June 2010. The opening ceremony will be conducted by the Director General of the Malaysian Cocoa Board, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Dr Azhar Ismail at 11.00am on the very same day.

CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP

The chocolate making courses are specifically designed for current and potential entrepreneurs, or busy homemakers wishing to learn new skills. We have a whole series of Chocolate Workshops that will be conducted by Salina Hassan from Chocolicious N Such! (full-time working mum/entrepreneur). Learn the art of chocolate making!

Chocolate Workshop consists of 4 hands-on modules:

4. Wonder Bear & Flower Power
